Our Current Projects

Thriving Through Play (TTP) – Global Fund for Children

A three-year initiative implemented by local organizations in Kenya and Uganda, with Similar Ground as a recipient partner. TTP supports children aged 6–12 in refugee and host communities to enhance mental health and resilience through play. The project uses creative arts, sports, games, and peer support to provide safe spaces where children can express themselves, build confidence, and strengthen social connections.

Peace and Reconciliation at School – UNHCR

Funded by UNHCR, this project promotes safe, inclusive, and harmonious learning environments in schools within refugee and host communities. It empowers students, teachers, and school leaders with skills in conflict resolution, mediation, and dialogue.
