Similar Ground(SG) is Nonprofit Organization With the Hope that No child Have to grow up alone

Similar Ground is a refugee-led organization founded and led by youth, dedicated to supporting refugee children and youth. The organization was established late in 2020, inspired by a group of youth you participated in a Youth Advocacy project in Bidibidi.

Our programs create safe spaces where children and youth can grow and learn, regardless of their circumstances. we work to build resilience and foster positive change in the lives of refugee children and youth.

We are dedicated to community-based action, to secure, protect and honor the rights of children.

We believe every child deserves a safe place to grow, learn and dream without fear. We work hand in hand with families, local leaders and partners, we create spaces where children are heard, supported and empowered to reach their full potential. Together, we build strong communities that stand up for children’s rights today and nurture a brighter, fairer tomorrow.
